Devin Thompson, LAPC

I knew after completing my undergraduate degree in psychology, a master's in counseling was going to be the perfect degree for me. 

I have worked in many different areas during my career as a therapist, some included: eating disorder facilities for adolescents, substance abuse facilities for adults, residential facilities for youth, and in a community setting with adults and adolescents. I truly have a passion for what I do and being able to help others along the way.

I like to think, my wide range of experience makes me flexible as a mental health therapist and able to adjust to the needs of my clients. I understand that taking the initial step towards counseling can be scary. It isn’t always easy going out of your comfort zone and seeking help. I am glad you are here.

My goal in working with you is to provide a safe space, a non-judgmental place where you feel comfortable and heard. I work with adolescents and adults, and I utilize a client centered approach to meet my client exactly where they are in life, while also using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to challenge any insecurities and self-doubt.
