My office is conveniently located just north of the Historic Marietta Square in the Stephens Building. It is within walking distance from everything the Square has to offer.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Master's of Social Work degree, I began my counseling career working for the Department of Juvenile Justice providing comprehensive assessments for youth who had been committed to the state for behavioral issues. I then began work with adolescents and adults in both outpatient and residential treatment settings.
I have extensive experience working with clients in crisis through both a national suicide crisis hotline and providing consults to patients experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues in the hospaital emergency room.
I believe that self-directed skills can help healing and wellness. I use person-centered treatment to help people heal, work through conflicts, enhance well-being, and find peace of mind.
I provide individualized therapy for adolescents and adults in a caring and compassionate setting, seeking to replace hopelessness and fear with optimism and hope.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my goal is to help clients seeking change, identify personal goals and learn ways to achieve the life that they desire. As a Master Addiction Counselor, I have specialized training and skills designed specifically to help clients struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
I also specialize in working with families and loved ones of those who struggle with substance abuse, helping them support the client with love and compassion. I provide individualized therapy for adolescents and adults in a caring and compassionate setting, seeking to replace hopelessness and fear with optimism and hope.
